Linburn Grass

Laying 80m2 grass in January does feel early but it can be a great time to lay turf. The wetter weather helps the grass to focus naturally on establishing the roots. The old grass was rutted and full of weeds. The transformation was great and the client is happy with the result.

Garvock -The Catio

FInished this job in November. It was a major transformation from what was existing.A new sandstone patio area and a renovated deck to complement the Catio. A great example of transforming an underused area into an area for socialising.

Cumbernauld Indian sandstone Pathway and Patio

An existing client wanted to get their older paths removed and replaced with new Kandla grey sandstone. The work took just over a week to complete. The result was a clean and sharp-looking pathway with no grass being dragged into the house. As a result of the colour and finish they asked for a patio at the back.

The client wanted to recycle concrete slabs to create a small patio and work area. Secondly the steps leading from the side of the house were considered unsuitable for gaining access to the garden. Crossford Garden Makeover

The client wanted a low-maintenance garden and patio. The existing slabs were upcycled and repositioned in the corner. Over 240 charcoal grey slabs were placed. A last minute discovery of the tree roots close to the surface resulted in a step being added around the base of the tree. Stone cobbles were used to break up the garden in sections.

Circular Patio

This was a patio for the client to enjoy the non-existent summer. It was a circular pack that took a couple of days to build and was a pack from B & Q

Rockery Dunfermline

The client has an attractive rockery but was plagued with weeds and overrun with Aquilega and unwanted plants. The solution was to remove the unwanted plants and weeds, put down membrane where appropriate and cover with granite gravel from CED stone .

Shed base emergency

Sometimes thing happen at short notice and you just gotta have a 3x5m shed base. Fortunately I had a spare slot to help out a friends request for a base for his new shed. After 1.5tonnes of concrete and lots of cold drinks the base was completed before the installers came.
